    HIPPO FLEX

    Anti –inflammatory  and Pain relief
Contribute to the formation of collagen and prevents degeneration of the joints.
    Oral gel – composition
Water, vegetable oil, fermentation extract of Asperillus Oryzae, plant extracts, glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, apple vinegar, ascorbic acid.
Limbs in horses have different functions. Thoracic limbs are designed to suspend the body, balance and cushioning, while the pelvic limb is the driving force. Horse’s weight rests equally on all legs and allows the horse to move freely in the balance. Any deviation can lead to disturbances in this balance, the excessive burden placed on certain joints, tendons, muscles and ultimately to lameness.
Hippo Flex is a oral paste in combination with glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate and antioxidants CHP. These substances are able to promote the formation of new collagen, improve mobility and minimize pain from the bone – joint of horses, improving joint function, cartilage, tendons.
Hippo Flex may help reduce the symptoms of:

One common effect appears to be to “tie up” the enzymes that break down joint fluid and cartilage. If the supplement can get the attention of these destructive enzymes and occupy them, the balance inside the joint has a chance to get on top of the inflammation.
With age, or injury, a horse’s cartilage becomes drier and more fragile. Chondroitin for horses attracts fluids toward the joints like a magnet! Since the horse cartilage has no blood supply, all the nutrients and lubrication must come from the fluid that flows around the horse’s joint areas. This is where glucosamine comes in… Glucosamine is a major building block for joint nutrients. Glucosamine is the lubrication that chondroitin attracts to the horses joint. When the horse has a regular supplement of glucosamine and chondroitin, the joints and cartilage are lubricated and allow for the horse’s natural repair mechanisms to take command of the joints.
Chondroitin sulfate rebuilds tissue, and its water-binding properties have a significant effect on damping shocks, which are subject tothe joints. Chondroitin has a very good impact on the efficiency and strength of the joints, and in combination with glucosamineprovides increased resistance of both joints and bone microdamage.
Glucosamine is a naturally occuring substance, it is a sugar, produced in an animal’s body  from glucose, and is used in the maintenance and regeneration of healthy cartilage in joints. Glucosamine has regenerative properties for the damaged cartilage, works anti-inflammatory and analgesic.Gives cartilage adequate flexibility, improves its functioning.
Should I give my horse Glucosamine HCI or Glucosamine Sulfate?

Glucosamine HCl and glucosamine sulfate both work equally well in horses, however, glucosamine sulfate has been proven more extensively over a period of time through study and research for its effectiveness. Hippo Flex contains 3000mg of Glucosamine Sulfate.Apple cider vinegar  contains vitamin E, considered as one of the most powerful antioxidants, neutralizing harmful free radicals that can cause premature aging, immune system disorders, cardiovascular disease. Apple vinegar is important for the nervous system and cardiovascular system. It also aligns the alkaline-acid balance of the body. Contrary to appearances, is de-acidification of the body.YuccaSchidigera its main areas of application are hip dysplasia, bone and joint problems, as well as swelling of the tissues. It is recommended for arthritis, rheumatism and similar ailments. It helps to reduce tissue swelling and pain.Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) acts as an antioxidant and enhances the immune system. It affects the production and preservation of collagen promotes healing of wounds, fractures, inhibits the formation of hemorrhage, increases resistance to infection and damage, especially during periods of physical overload, and reduces the duration of the infection. Vitamin C is involved in the formation and maintenance of the physiological equilibrium of connective tissue, cartilage and bone. Is responsible for the transport of iron in the body, the synthesis of antibodies, stimulates the activity of leukocyte – increasing resistance. Limited direct impact on the synthesis of steroid hormones and the development of hyaluronic acid.Vitamin PP– is also known as vitamin B3 and nicotinic acid. Niacin assists with proper function of the digestive system, skin and nerve system. It also plays a role in the conversion of food to energy. Niacin is present in most common horse feeds but concentrations and digestibility may vary depending on the food source. Niacin is also produced by microbial fermentation in the caecum of the horse. In supplements niacin is generally supplied in a nicotinic acid form. Niacin requirements for horses have not yet been determined. In addition, deficiency and toxicity in horses have also not been described. Deficiency in other species caused severe metabolic disorders and lesions of the skin.
